Project Narrative

• The work for this project included Swing Space for Garfield Elementary School with extensive roof repairs, building envelope and water intrusion repairs, HVAC upgrades, technology relocation, and new campus testfits with interior and exterior signage and landscaping. The site was occupied during construction activities.
• The delivery method for this contract is the design-build method. The work is issued via a task order contract, 50% of the project was subcontracted to
  CBEs.
• The start and end dates for construction were June 2022 and January 2023, the project will be delivered on time.
• The self-performed trade for this contract was rough carpentry.
• The initial substantial completion date for the contract was June 9, 2022. The initial contract value was $149,500.00.
• The level of completion of design documents initial contract was based on is design-build model.
• The actual substantial completion date for the contract was May 22, 2020. The final contract value was $648,250.00
